Welcome to "Galaxy Unlimited."

Do you like dressing up as a Jedi, Sith, Stormtrooper or Jawa. GALAXY UNLIMITED is a Free Membership Fan Club for those who love Star Wars or other SCI-FI movies. We go to conventions like DragonCon in Atlanta, GA or OmegaCon in Birmingham, AL.  We meet once a month to discuss movies, books, games and/or upcoming events. We parcticipate in charities for a worthy cause or host for stores and such to help promote the Club.  We participate in parades here in Alabama and surrounding states. 

Our main goals are to have fun... Get to know people and make new friends. We try to keep members active with events and stuff to show our appreciation for the SCI-Fi genre, especially Star Wars.

Why are we unofficial?  -This lets us have free membership. Not be bogged down by too many rules and regulations and also helps people who can't make true commitments, basically if you're there- you're there, if not- you're still a member. What we do in the Club!

• Costume Workshop- We create costumes or get together to help create costumes. The Fan Club President takes a poll of members when they can participate and sets a date to attend. We have fund raisers to help provide a fund to make costumes or members can make donations with material or money.  It is not mandatory to participate but does play a big role in the Fan Club.
• Galaxy Connect- This is what we call the monthly meeting for the club. The club president determines the date, time and place and will be posted on the website and/or emailed to members. This is when we discuss upcoming events and such.
• Galaxy Logbook- Events and stuff blog.
• Galaxy's Best Read- Sci-Fi, Fantasy book of the month.
• Galaxy's Movie Pick- A sci-fi/horror movie picked by the club to watch, once every 3-6 months, Title with date, time and place of viewing will be determined and posted on the website and/or emailed to members.

We (Galaxy Unlimited) are a non-profit, fan-based club. Volunteerly organized in the interest of the Star Wars Universe. We attain to represent the Star Wars mythos and continue its interest within ourselves as well as the general public. We also strive to help other Fan Clubs, charities or organizations that represent the Star Wars mythos with representation from our fan club, by means of (Star Wars fashioned) costumes and/or general appearance.
